No you clipped the tyres, that were all nicely chained together. They whipped round and wrapped round the front of my kart. Causing me to stop and get a marshall to remove them. hehe

Just watched that video. Looks like he's driving on ice; doesn't seem to have any grip at all or whatsoever.

You don't karting in the wet. I did it once with some guys who could properly pedal, I have never felt so out of my depth doing anything in my life

It's epic fun though. You can get some hero drifts going. Biggest problem is getting back off the grass

The only time I've ever won any karting event was in the wet. I put it down to my superior mechanical advantage giving significantly more grip. Basically, being a fat knacker gave me more grip.

The only other way I can win is if I manage to get a:

Weight certainly helps in the wet yes, as does a deft touch rathter than that of a rapist. Obviously.

If it's wet I'm going for angle dangles than lap times hehe

Someone else can have the trophy this time wink

A clue helps as well. I've only karted in the wet once, I could get it into corners, couldn't get it out of corners and when it started to slide, I couldn't change the direction of the slide. Other than that I was fine.

The track that we went to was (inexplicably) in the middle of a dog track so running wide meant an off road trip through whatever dogs run on.
