Potless - I'll be sure to give the throttle a good BLIP if I feel a little lost.

Gavin,

Fraid not, I am getting pressure to take the Mrs and daughter to the next one I go to and Chatsworth might be a bit far for the little one. She's only just one and the TVR baby seat means she can't fall asleep in the car.

Are you?

Yeah, I'm of to Chatsworth, providing Me and Dad have finished fitting the new spoiler. What do you think, one day to drill holes, fit fog lights, and paint it . No probs, I'm at work. Cheers Dad.

Don,

I think we'll join you for this. Need to check with my social secretary who is currently out earning a crust.

Simont, Whatever and I just got back from hooning up some B-roads errrr doing some reconaissance.

Well. Boys and Girls. Do we have a treat for you. The Overton/Whitchurch/BitOfALongWayRound section is a *hoot*. The rest is *very* scenic indeed.

Some of the villages we pass through will require a bit of patience though as there is the classic problem of village street parking - but nothing is a problem.

We will have a smashing spot to park in at the fete...Simont will be there to guide us in. All we have to do is line up!

We will need to get there for about 1:30pm, though. So I will be adjusting the schedule over the weekend to fit as I've left the start a little late.

All sorts of grub will be available at the fete...so it should be excellent.

I can't wait. Oh...and its the Tuscans at Brands on the Sunday. What a weekend!

Don - Are there likely to be any ground clearance problems when we get to the fete ground? Or the meeting place at your offices?

Just lowered the front of the car by about 20mm to bring it to the correct ride height!

Paul.

Paul,

We did check for things like that -- I have to be quite careful and it sounds like you need to be even more so!

Anyway, we didn't reckon anything would cause problems, and at the fete site it's a flat run off a car park onto a flat area of grass -- should be ok.

What is your ground-clearance now? From what I saw last time, I didn't think you'd have room to drop it by anything

btw, I like the way Don's maps have come out labelled "England". Very informative but if you need that info, then boy are you lost!

...and don't forget to add the event in your calendars and make it "public" -- let's see who's coming! (link earlier in this thread)

See you all there!

There is one little spot where there is a small bump at Worting House where we have our photo-op that might cause you a problem. You'll have time to look at it before needing to drive your beastie over it - all the rest should be fine - so you'll be OK.

Schedule update later on today...
