I went in 2010 and will be back again this year, I'll be flying out early morning and coming back later that evening giving at least 8h or so at the show itself - going on past experience that'd be plenty of time to stroll around, you won't need a second day. I'm going out on the 14th simply because that was when the flights were cheapest, I went on a week day last time and although there were plenty of other people there it wasn't so busy that you had to elbow your way into crowds to see anything.

Should be a really good show this year smile

Myself and Nurburgring1 are going for the day, can't remember which one though. Early flight out, late flight back. Never been before, looking forward to it.

week days are best IMO, this year will be my forth trip since about 2007, really is a brilliant show, and makes you realise how dire the London motorshows had become. Its doable in a day as its right next to the airport tho i like geneva so usually stay over for a night (tho hotelks are expensive for anything half decent)

We're going 13th/14th, again coz the flights were reasonable. Book your entry tickets online and print in advance as it saves a bit of a queuing in the morning.

I am flying out from Gatwick on the 12th, back in the evening.
Doors do not open until 1000hrs.
I found 6 hours at the show is more than enough.

I'm doing Luton out and back in the day for work on the 11th I think.

0625 flight out and then either 1750 or 2145 coming back depending on how long we decide we'll need.

This will be my first time to Geneva, but doing it over 2 days, so will be very chilled;

Flying out 8am-ish on Friday 8th, fly back Saturday at 7pm-ish.

Really looking forward to it, there are some very exciting launches planned smile

The show may only be next door but I would add that when flying back early evening there can be massive queues at airport security so leave plenty of time to get through the gate.

How long before the flight would you advise? Think I'm on the 17.50 ack to Luton.

I'm going for the day from Gatwick on the 8th. I've been a few times now so my advise is don't take a coat as you'll be carrying it all day.

I've just booked for Saturday 16th, trying not to have too much time off work, is it liable to be swamped?

It's probably on the site, but I'm assuming SLR's can be taken in?

I did it last year same day there and back as it is a short walk straight out of the terminal. You only need your lunch money unless your going shopping.
