Can someone give us the lowdown on the dragster? My guess is 1960's but could be 1970's. Who's is it? Any you tube clips of it on action?

I did an interview with the owner. I will be uploading the video soon. No chance tonight after 1/2 bottle of red....

It looked great, and reminded me of the 1986 Passat GL5 (2 litre 5 cylinder) hatchback that I ran for a few years and was also family owned from new. It was immaculate, but written off in 2001 when someone ran into the back of me :0(

Hope to catch up at the next one - there were enough 80's cars there on Tuesday for a nice little display!

Thank you to all that came along for this! It was a great evening!

I tried to ensure we got a bit of an atmosphere on this occasion so everyone was a bit more packed in together & to come round the corner & see basically a little slice of automotive nirvana with all these fantastic cars splayed out in front of you leading down towards the benches/planes was a real sight

Next months date will be up later on today...Let's see if we can push the numbers even higher now!
