LOL thank you , It always raises a smile. i was going to come in the CSL but cups and those temps made my decision for me. I was going to go around silverstone track in the spur but i dont think under braking it would do too well !

Great Sunday Service btw. Loved the lightweight track cars and that peppermint green GT3 and 420bhp Octavia sleeper .
What is this supposed to mean? I can't see it!

Was this a Sunday Service or a Mickey Mouse reg plate convention?

All those photos taken and my car only appears in two of them, just the way I planned it! This is my favourite though, taken by danllama.

The Focus in the background with the bike on the roof is mine. Apologies to the Cayman owner, this isn't my car, but I do like it.

It was great chatting to people as usual, especially the guys who came in the MXV8 (!), the guy and his son building the Astra Coupe BTCC rep and the guys in the very nice 205 who let me take lots of photos of their engine bay.

I hope my car will be out on track next time, hopefully when I have made the brakes able to cope with more that two corners at a time.

I too had a great day, had a big grin on my face driving back to Bristol after the event.
I will add to the request for photos of specific cars.
Any photos of the Black 996 with gold wheels on track in the last session before lunch?

When you own a 9-5 AERO as your "Daily" you somehow notice them hehe
IIRC there were five 9-5 AEROs on the day, mine being one of the three "Steel Grey" Wagons.

I've had a look through some of the Flickr pages. The standard of photography really is very good. In some cases I would say better than the PH 'official' photographer.
Definitely. I've picked up some great (free) photos from various people here and PM'd to thank them clap

same here - mine only gets in the photos by parking next to something nice smile

i did clock the chunky tyres and recaros on your sleeper focus, guessed there might be something interesting lurking under the bonnet- any more info?

Despite knowing this was coming, deliberately looking out for it, and it having a bike on the roof I still walked past it once without spotting it! hehe

Thanks Chris for showing me under the bonnet. It's a superb build smile
