The Focus in the background with the bike on the roof is mine. Apologies to the Cayman owner, this isn't my car, but I do like it.

It was great chatting to people as usual, especially the guys who came in the MXV8 (!), the guy and his son building the Astra Coupe BTCC rep and the guys in the very nice 205 who let me take lots of photos of their engine bay.

I hope my car will be out on track next time, hopefully when I have made the brakes able to cope with more that two corners at a time.

same here - mine only gets in the photos by parking next to something nice

i did clock the chunky tyres and recaros on your sleeper focus, guessed there might be something interesting lurking under the bonnet- any more info?

I believe it has the engine out of the focus st, seen a build thread of it somewhere but can't remember where!

Despite knowing this was coming, deliberately looking out for it, and it having a bike on the roof I still walked past it once without spotting it!

Thanks Chris for showing me under the bonnet. It's a superb build
