It was nice to see everyone and great photos
Great run to the event and the secret is to eat first on arrival
Nearly hit a tree in the car park when leaving so next time i will not just look at reversing camera
lastly had pigeon hit my windscreen at about 80 mph on the way home
So that it is why it is the Wilton wake up itmade me jump no damage to car which is good news.
It was a good morning, thank you to Nic for organising and leading the drive was quite surprising getting the G sensor to activate the hazard lights under braking coming to a junction, certainly wasn't expecting that!

Was good to have breakfast with yourself and a look around the large amount of cars. I was quite surprised by the size of the event, I knew it would be smaller than goodwood but a large turnout, limited queues to get in and a high standard of cars made for a great day.

I'm so glad we got breakfast straight away, we didn't have to wait. I'll upload my photos at some point this week.

Always a pleasure to go to Wilton House. More so today then at other times especially since it was not just the first Wake Up of the year, but the first since WCS was cancelled for good.

Maybe that sort of explained the huge, unexpected & unprecedented turnout this morning! I still can't believe they got so full they told people to park at the shopping village car park!

While the madness was reaching it's peak, boom! My mates (Hattie & Richard) in the Koenigsegg came & so did me from the shopping village car park rushing to see it!

Thankfully it died down to the point that I spent a good 15 mins in the café with Hattie & Richard plus a couple of friends of ours from the Harwoods Group chilling out before we all left.

It was a fantastic morning. Sorry for being a bit "loud" but that's errr... me.

Pics? 500+ to enjoy.

First time at Wilton for me this morning - enjoyable morning. Nice venue with some great cars.

Not sure if it's usually this busy, but if it is, the catering definitely needs improving - queue was out of the door frown
I've been to a few of these and today's was the biggest by far; the queue for the catering was at least moving pretty quickly due to them having a bacon roll production line going on smile

Cracking turnout and some great cars around - despite the "doors open at 8" description, I heard one marshall say they had a queue of cars at 7...

Certainly way busier than I've ever seen it. Arrived at 0930 to be turned away towards the shopping car park. Last time I went I was marshalled to park on display near the entrance! Great selection of metal as always, though.

As an aside saw an MX5 RF; it looks a lot better than it does in photos, much less 'top heavy'.

Thanks to everyone who joined us at Shell for the convoy over to Wilton, we definitely arrived at the best time for parking and breakfast! Glad you enjoyed the route, it's great shooting across the Wallops at that time of day!

I will more than likely be heading to Goodwood on Sunday 7th May for Supercar Sunday. Maybe we can arrange meeting before if people are interested. Watch this space.

Rob has some great pictures of nearly every car there I think! Take a look:

I saw it too & it confirmed my view that IT IS top heavy AND it's 'orrible AND a major Mazda cock-up. Ladies concerned about the hair & cannot afford an SLK will love it I'm sure. BUT I concede that 'beauty is in the eyes of the beholder'.
