October 27th Sunday Top Speed Day @ Elvington Ai

Another top speed and 1/4 mile event is being repeated at Elvington Airfield near York. I attended the first and it was good fun. The airfield has a 2 mile long taxiway and runway and the timing gear is setup at a 1/4 mile and 1.6 miles. It will run from 10am to 5pm and allows for as many runs as you want.
Special clothing should consist of sturdy underpants, and a helmet, road legal cars and no slicks are the only rules. £70 per car paid on the day. Timed head to head 1/4s and top speed runs.
