Thanks to all for such a great day- The best so far and such a great location. Perhaps a Thames valley run sometime. I have mentioned this to Don in the past and a few other PH's and they are all keen. Gavin, sorry we didn't wait for yoy but Dom wanted to get back before 12 and you know how slow the old 911's are!!

Guy

No problem mate, wouldn't have been able to keep up anyway (well less than usual ). The alternater finally gave up on the home. We managed to nurse it home 45-50mph down the M40 htheshame:. We even got over taken by 2 ice cream vans. Only saving grace was dad was driving, doesn't look as bad with an old boy driving slowly. All sorted now though, maybe I should get a 6cyl Subaru. Dom fancy selling your's for a fiver? Might be more reliable.

I am sooo sorry I missed you all! I met up with some long-not-seen friends for a lovely pub lunch that had been arranged some time ago. We had a good laugh, and a good run in the Chimaera, but seeing the pix from yesterday reminds me of the fun I had on the Surrey Run...I hope to see many of you again at the Virginia Water Meet, or at the next Surrey Run...failing that, it'll be BTaP!!!

Yup,

Thanks for making me drive 150 miles and stand in a field for a bit then drive back.

Wouldn't have missed it...

Nicely.

Didn't see you standing! You warmed the pitch up a bit for the Nova Boys, mind!

LOL, scruff.

It was nice to meet you...thanks for making the effort to come all that way...still..chance to stretch the Griff's legs I hope.

Guy...I haven't forgotton you mentioned a Surrey run. I would be happy, of course, to do the web pages and help with the organising. Depends on when of course....

I'm hoping to come along to the Virginia Water meet...if I make it I hope to see some of you there?

Anyone going to Thruxton?

Forgot to say; thanks guys (& Ted) for the golf prizes. My first ever tournament win!
Until Adam's saved up for his Cobra, the car sticker may go on his bedroom window (unless he wants to stick it on Dad's car )

John, did you sort out the brake light switch? (I posted the same question on the old POTB thread because I missed this one... Doh!)

I think it's sorted thanks, but it's a difficult one to test. (Brake lights come on under hard acceleration and turn off under braking!!!)
Gavinr followed me for the last leg and didn't notice anything strange. I'll have a bit of a fettle with it at the weekend to check nothing's loose.
Cheers, John.

It was the first time I had driven the car with the splitter on so I have to admit luck had a lot to do with it. I have several pices of ply and a template which I have the feeling will be used quite a lot!

They're the ones who, once they had wandered agog past all the exotica, happen upon my Primera. At which they pointed and laughed
