Never been to a breakfast club event but really tempted by the event on the 1st October, however there aren't many details about the day such as when does it run to and from? I know breakfast is from 7:30am but is that when people start to arrive?

What other activities occur if any or is it better to expect it to be like a normal outdoor car meet?

10/10:30 is early but similar to the BMW SS on the weekend.

It's a 2 hour drive there but was thinking of cars first then perhaps a walk around the grounds just to make the trip worthwhile

Personally I wouldn’t drive 2 hours to see a load of Subaru’s and evos. However each to their own (and there were some cracking datsuns in previous years)

I’d say best to arrive around the 0800-0830 mark and as has been said cars leave by 1000-1030.

Food is expensive compared to your normal greasy burger van however it’s a free event (pre registration required) and the food is organic from the estate. (I reccomend the NAAFI wagon.

If you do not meet the theme / pre register your car you’ll park in a field (low cars are fine).

As for walking around the grounds, you can walk around the circuit but pretty boring if nothing’s going round and the rest of the estate/house you can’t walk around unless you’re a member. However there are some good public walks around the trundle.

Will you be putting it on the track?

Should be popping down to this, with the unloved FN2 Type R. biggrin

By Track I assume you mean parked on the grid straight? Unfortunately I didn't get a space on the track, my pass says "Site Access" Which I believe is in the paddock?

No, it will be track - just not the start/finish straight.

"Site Access" could be track or paddock, it just depends where they put you. At the last Breakfast Club they filled the paddocks first, the late arrivals got on the track.

Well ... I've been chosen to show my BRZ on the day .. glad about the relatively early finish as I'm then ruching off to Wembley for the NFL!!!

It's going to be a long day with doors opening at 6:30 am at Goodwood (and it's a good 1 1/2 drive!) and then potentially 4 hours of American football!

And most of Saturday cleaning the car methinks!

Just my "boring" Blobeye JDM Impreza STi down which is being put on show. So as the above poster has said, will be spending all Saturday cleaning it. I'm sure only to get dirty on the way down. Looking forward to it smile

Just in case you didn't realise, the circuit is not the same as the house.

I've been to two Breakfast Clubs now (Supercar and Soft Top), both were a good a way to spend a few hours on a Sunday morning. It's usually worth standing next to the road outside from about 10 to see all the cars leaving (I remember someone being given a telling off by a policeman after a particularly enthusiastic exit! hehe).

Assuming the gearbox hasn't blown up by then, I'll be there with the MR2. (Any excuse to post a picture!)

Id say get there for around 8am.

You've got the 2 outer paddocks, the straight and internal paddock.

I'll be bringing my S15 Silvia
