Techno Classica or Retro Classics ?

I see that the shows in Stuttgart and Essen are again on the same dates this year.

I usually go to Essen as it's just a couple of hours drive for me from Amsterdam - however which one is better or do you choose to go to ?

I like the NEC Classic Car type event - less sales / dealers and more clubs, traders of "stuff" etc

I have been to Techno Classica many times, and have enjoyed it very much, except for last year.

Unfortunately it has now become a Flattened Beetle Fest, with traders outdoing each other, asking inflated prices for old Pork
You can not move without tripping over the damned things
Have not been to Retro in Stuttgart, hopefully give it a go this year.

I enjoy Essen for the wide range of cars for sale. Yes they push prices but that's what dealers do...

I'm planning on going to both,over 2 days,900 mile round trip from Calais.

Been to TC Essen 3 times before.

I think all things considered - I'll give Stuttgart a go this year having done TC multiple times.
