Brooklands Winter Classic Breakfast - 18 Feb
Discussion
If you fancy an early morning drive and eats, it is the first breakfast meeting of the year at Brooklands this Sunday. Test hill will be open to all, subject to the weather. All the information can be found here:

I get irritated with their admission prices. People come to look at the cars we take, so we are the show, yet still we have to pay quite a lot to enter. I don't want to look around the museum, and with a car that is correct for the event, should be able to enter free and leave by a set time.
Puts me off attending every time. Bicester have got it right - a half price entry for correct cars, which is substantially lower entry price anyway.

It's a museum event, not a specifically car event and the entry includes breakfast.
Once you are on site all of the motoring and aviation exhibits are open so they wouldn't be able to separate museum entry.
I think Brooklands is a fantastic venue and am more than happy to support them.

The Museum isn't open until 10am. This is advertised as a Winter Classic Breakfast - 08.00-09.45.
£14.50 for breakfast is not good value - and I don't want it anyway. All I want is a coffee.
I know you can't please everyone all of the time, but the way they do these mornings could be made more attendee friendly.

em177: Did you go on the Test Hill? 'T' reg, green mudguards and yellow nose cone?
Brooklands Breakfast was a well attended event with a wide variety of machinery from 1920s Austin Sevens to a McLaren 720S. I didn't get there until 9.45 and it is likely that some cars had already departed. On Sunday morning there was another Breakfast Meet at Newdigate near Leigh.

Unfortunately not, I left early before the hill started. Was very much, arrrvie, breakfast, quick walk around and leave for me unfortunately.
I think to argue the negativity posted, my local terrible ‘brewers fair’ equivalent wants a tenner for a full breakfast & coffee, 15 quid inc entry to a car show is fine for me
