Looks like a great and varied selection of cars. I was so disappointed I couldn't make it but I broke the differential on the Lagonda at Brooklands and it took longer to make the repairs than hoped for. Nice to see the pre-war cars there so I'll definitely bet there in 2019!

Great job to everyone that made this event happen, had a great time. Went to the London Motor Show not long ago (which cost far too much for what was there) and I have to say, today had much more variety and better cars than the London show did! Managed to get a parking space in Waitrose before it got too busy there. See you all next year!

Here's some pics I took, feel free to download them and whatnot if you wish. smile

I would like to thank each and everyone of you that turned up today to show and spectate. Your contribution was so valuable to the success of the day we really appreciate all your support. Thank you

If you have some photos please post them below for all to see and I welcome your comments and suggestions on how we can improve next year!

Thanks again and I hope to see you in 2019!

Jed
Jed, first off thanks for throwing the invite out on here.

My friend and myself had a great time, I think the vehicle selection was bang on with a great range of vehicles across the board so there was something for everyone of every age and interest and not dominated by any particular model (except those pesky common Nobles wink). More importantly it wasn't over run with modern performance Merc/Audi/BMW's which seem to make the usual PH meets rather errr dull!!

I think next year you might need the other part of the car park!

I only took photos with my phone, they can be found here: https://www.flickr.com/gp/157713172@N05/517X06

Great pics!

Front and rear shot of mine which is nice! smile

BTW - anybody remember the name of the baker stand in the corner? Their brownies were absolutely awesome and I want to be able to buy some more!

Had a really great day at the show. Great variety of cars, great atmosphere and great weather. It was my first car show with the car (Red Suzuki Cappuccino) and i would definitely come again next year.

Thanks to all who organised :-)

What is the chap driving on the parade lap? Is it a DeTamaso badge on the steering wheel.

It's a Jensen logo (J). For a Jensen Healey (V8)

Keith thank you so much for linking these they are great images.

Would it be ok for me to try and download them and keep them on file to potentially use for event promotion for next year? Please let me know if this isn't ok s I can't PM you!

Thanks,

Jed

A quick update and a big THANK YOU to everyone that attended.

Last week the funds raised (a fantastic £2300) were driven in one of Sir Ray Tindles cars to Phyliss Tuckwell where a giant cheque was presented to the Hospice. Below is a link of the article found in this weeks Herald.

Thank you again for your support and kind donations it will really make a difference to those that need it.

We are now starting work on the 2019 event and with your support are aiming to make it bigger and better!

Jed
