WTF ?...you had local yokels waving their pitch forks at you ?

hope you were well behaved.
That was what made it amusing for me, everyone I saw (including us) was driving in a sensible manner as the roads were tight so there was not much to disapprove of.
Good stuff....thumbup

I know there were at least 3 police vehicles out and about during the morning but I never saw one in the afternoon - I'm guessing they didn't have any issues - I did see one parked up at the lunch break watching the "Autotest 2" I kinda imagined him saying "there's a lot of value being spat round on loose surfaces - who the heck does that!!!!"

Further to the pictures, I seem to remember having a link to an online results view for the private tests, but I can't seem to find it.
My imagination, or can anyone sling me the link? Cheers smile

Andy Manston of M&H was taking pictures:

He normally emails every competitor with details, so I'm sure he will be in touch.

Thanks to all those who organised it.
Thanks to B’stard child for his assistance on the forums.
Good to meet you all.

The police seemed preoccupied with Hunt saboteurs to be honest.

I too saw the woman with the phone videoing us all pass by at 20 mph I can only think no traffic passes that way and she had forgotten it was a road and thus felt put out by us using it.

It was a great day. I look forward to the next one.

Ahh I wondered what that bunch of long haired hippy types were doing down one of the lanes

.

To be honest what was frequently in the eyes of any vehicle coming towards us wasn't "bloody hell that's a Lotus Carlton" but rather "bloody hell In 30 years of driving down this road I've never had to meet another car!!!"

Award of bravest driver goes to a Passat Estate driven by an elderly driver who stuck two wheels up on the bank and drove past us at a 45 deg angle - every panel on the offside was battered biggrin

Me too - was brilliant fun - I have a couple of small suggestions to put on the feedback questionaire but they really where minor points overall the event went brilliantly

I have a vid of that! Was the best part of the day for me. Only dashcam I'm afraid, it's not great.

Wondered what was going on today!

Wife and I were out in 68 Mustang and GT2RS and we saw a blue Clio, white BMW, Exige and I think a red Westfield near Bredfield.

Fantastic day, great to get together with such a large group of like-minded individuals. Gutted that I got a cone-pentalty....the only car to get one from the timing results! Shunted me down from 15th to 83rd. All part of the fun! Looking forwards to next year's. #13 in the MINI JCW (with red roof)

Superb day and very well organised.
We had the polar opposite with people we came across, all very friendly and smiling, quick wave and thank you was all the that was required.

Even the run in with the six horse boxes and trailers ended amicably after lots of car shuffling.

Big thanks to all the organisers - obviously a lot of prep-work went into the making of a great day.

Nice cars, participants and route; the missus and I treated it as a gentle meander through the countryside rather than a hoon.

We went wrong in the first leg along with quite a few others...

A few from yesterday.

Highlights of the weekend was the look on the locals faces as 100+ cars tried to negotiate their usually tranquil country lanes, the disgruntled farm worker who managed to cause chaos with a few concrete blocks as we all tried to exit the airfield and the unexpected diversion at the level crossing!

Fantastic event though, thanks to all at PH. Me and Norbs will be back next year (Clio Sport 46)

Just curious how people got on removing the window sticker. We bought a magnetic plate for ours for less than £3.00 each. Wasn’t sure if they would stay put. Touch wood stayed well attached all day. Got home peeled off chucked in boot for next year. Would recommend to anyone for a similar event.
