Something I’ve been following in twitter and may be of interest, a new documentary on the AMS in the top of sports car racing. Just bought it, looks great, avaialable on iTunes.

I’m not in anyway linked to the project, purely posting out pointing out something many of you will enjoy I’m sure.

I finished watching this today - it made great train viewing.

As a WEC fan I've always struggled to have much affinity with LMP2. This helped. I suspect that's a good thing going forward as LMP2 becomes more important.

Either way, a good watch.

Isn't it? Really interesting to hear about some of the personalities and stories behind the racing.

Watched this over the weekend and quite enjoyed it. I mistakenly assumed the gentlemen drivers were rich playboys, not hard working businessmen enjoying their hobby.

I think it’s fair to say that the ‘breed’ started like that. Today, much less. I know a few AM drivers operating at an national/international level and they’re, mostly!, all pretty successful in other fields and not just spending the inheritance.

That’s the bit I found of most interest in all honesty.
