As i was born in 1959 i thought i would have a look and treat myself for christmas, horror of horrors it is a quartz modern watch and brand new, so will not be buying one of them. As said by others rather to much on the watch front and having a quartz movement on something that is celebrating the famous aston win is a bit like making a replica car and putting an electric motor in it.

Suggestion then
https://www.rebellion-timepieces.com/en/collection... this is mechanical... and with a sound racing pedigree ---- only problem is that most people will find 450 000 CHF ( £350.000) a bit steep for a weird watch

I would probably go for one of the much 'cheaper' Blancpain watches....

My travel friend's teenage buddy got a personalised (ie one of a kind) for all the work and races he had done for Mr Hayek (Blanchpain) He showed it to us... quite valuable too

boy that is ugly, prefer simple mechanical watches made by craftsmen, my eterna kontiki suits me and would not swap it for any of the modern garish watches.
