It is with great regret that I have to announce that the Haynes Motor museum guided tour has been cancelled.
I received a phone call from the museum this afternoon
and was informed that the curator, Mr Micheal Penn, who was due to be our guide on Sunday 13th, has cancelled all bookings so as to be free to go on Holiday. Personally, I'm less than happy and very un-impressed! My appologies to all who were looking forward to the day, but it now seems out of my control. Simon.

Well, everyone needs a holiday but it does seem pretty poor planning on his part!

Do we need a guide? Can't we still go as planned or was there a special rate?

No special rate was arranged and yes we can still go if you all want to, it would be a shame not to really. So what do you think?

I'm definitely up for it. It would be nice to give PHers from this end of the country a chance to meet.

I'll still go !
As Dan says, it'll be good to meet PHers from down this neck of the woods.

I'm really glad that people still want to go, I was more than a little annoyed when I received the call, but hey, its his loss. So we're still going then, great! See you all there 09.30 hrs suit everyone?

Yeah I reckon, I'm going to be there at about 09.30, to take advantage of the clear sunday morning roads, so should you see a red blur followed by a grey mist, it'll be me!

Unfortunately I have other committments and can't go myself. But I hope all of you have a great time...I love the Haynes place and have been several times.

Its a lovely run from Basingstoke too...down the A303 (avoiding the GATSO's - careful chaps)... but very scenic past Stonehenge and into the West Country...
