Always very much liked the thought of an RA James, will look forward to seeing it and saying hello
It’s ace! Can’t say I’m looking forward to the motorway, they’re definitely called “Race Altered” for a reason Come say hi, you’re welcome to have a nosy!
Hoping this isn’t going to be a dud too, even their social media events pages aren’t gaining much traction...
Awesome I had a blobeye WRX with Prodrive developed (long story short) springs with new dampers and it was superb down a b-road, the RA is another level again I'm sure.
I've seen a few pointers that there might be some 'heavy hitters' there. A good few of us coming from Wales so we're hoping for a good turn out too. I'm sure it'll be great. It better be I spent £9.95 on a 90's inspired eBay t-shirt!

Was that the PSA Springs? I had a Hawkeye WRX on those and they are incredible. Best handling mod for a newage by far.I've seen a few pointers that there might be some 'heavy hitters' there. The turn in on the RA is insane and the way it transitions from turn-in to mild oversteer is satisfying. Yet to take it on track though, hopefully October.
My Mrs sorted my t-shirt out, turns out she got me one with a GC8 on so that was cool! Weather is looking to be crap but hopefully it won't be as bad as they say .
So in follow up, a few thoughts. Pre-event advertising certainly needs improving for next year as numbers were not massive by Breakfast Club comparisons and talking to people throughout the day they all said similar. From a show perspective though, what a great idea for an event and I really enjoyed it. The cars that attended were great to look at and the fact it encompasses literally anything and everything from the period and in any condition really makes it great as you just don't know what you're going to stumble across next. People wise, everyone was really cheerful and happy, with a great chilled out atmosphere and was easy to just randomly start chatting to people and understand the story of they pride and joy. The period background music was bang on and I often, without realizing, started tapping a foot when some classic old school tune popped up. This coupled with the dressing up element and the period items also brought along was a great touch and certainly raised a smile at some of the simply mighty efforts by some, hats of to those.
80's/90's cars here in the UK are very prevalent with a great following so i'm sure this event can only grow once word gets out. Really hope it does and hope to see a bigger attendance next time round. If you're thinking of coming next time, definitely make the effort i'd say

Were you not displaying your LC? The organisers contacted me to see if I would display mine but I declined on the grounds that it's scruffy and I don't use it for static shows (plus until Sat I was in Spain with work) - I offered to point them in the right direction but they found another by that point.80's/90's cars here in the UK are very prevalent with a great following so i'm sure this event can only grow once word gets out. It was a lot smaller than I expected, but I agree on the atmosphere and how friendly everyone was.
Hopefully if they can get more promotion out there the next one will be bigger. Kind of feel a more central venue would serve them well - nothing at all wrong with Goodwood, but it is right down one end of the country, might limit their attendance, being a smaller event.

My pics from the day.
I went up with my Evo and my Dad in his VLC. Both of which had multiple examples on show.
Echo-ing the sentiment about the relaxed atmosphere, which was great. And also the lack of decent exposure and awareness beforehand!
Looking forward to the next.
