Evidently, I was advised, that look is currently very popular in Japan.

Oh dear, since when did this wonderful classic car meet become just another modern plastic body kit meet!

I can believe that!

It's a strange bodykit - I kind of like it for the crazy emphasis on its intrinsic curvy shape but also dislike it because it's too much.

The Cayman and the Toyota were the only 2 body kit cars that I can remember. The Cayman went off elsewhere before others started leaving.
I'd say that the very large majority were classics, or future classics, or cars of interest to most of those who were there.
I, like most, walked past cars which were of less interest to me, so not a problem for me.
Attendance on one of the first sunny days in a long while seemed very good despite the disruption and queues caused by the immediate M25 junction 11 and 10 closures.

Why didn’t you take some pics of them rather than boring cars?

Some amazing cars again today- the highlight for me was my lottery win car, an ISO Grifo, closely followed by the gorgeous green AM Vantage, the E24 Alpina and the 6.3 Mercedes…

If your numbers come up you can have that very car, it's for sale! I had the pleasure of following it on the drive home and would love it myself!

Usually at this time of the year, it only gets busy after 8. I arrived ar 8:01 and was one of the last to park in the carpark.
The Aston below belongs to a friend and he needed many hands to get him out of there. Just as well Peter.wqsnlt there in his Diablo..☺️

I got speaking to the owner at the Cobham Car Club meet (currently held at Leatherhead Golf Club). He said he did it all himself. The story goes a bit like this: One day he bought a flakey Cayman, fixed the flakey issues, then told his friends that he was going to modify the bodywork while they were standing there. Next thing they see is him hacking at the arches with an angle grinder and him saying someething like, "Well, I have to do it now!"

Up close the work is so professional it's impressive.

Is there a link or any corroboration ? Did you ask them ? July's was nicely busy a couple of weeks ago

Still on this morning, as eclectic as ever; these were my pucks of the day with honourable mentions to the Dino, the Jota and the grey E-type…

Anyone going this Sunday? Weather looks like it should be decent (or at least not raining first thing).
