RE: Prescott Hill Climb Sunday Service 02/04

FAQs
I'm hoping this will address quite a few questions asked here, but please ask away if there's anything else.
Q: Who can drive up the hill?
A: Anyone will a full valid UK drivers licence. You will also need a Motorsport UK RS Clubman licence, which you can get for free here.
Q: What can I drive up the hill?
A: Any road-legal and road-registered UK car.
Q: Do I need to book general entry if I've already booked time on the hill?
A: No, if you're driving on the hill then this includes entry for you to park in the paddock. If you're bringing other people with you, then they'll need general entry tickets. Under 16s go free.
Q: What is a non-competitive run?
A: Each car will drive up the hill individually, however no timing will be allowed. Helmets are also not allowed. You should still cover your arms and legs (e.g. no t-shirts/shorts).
Q: Are there any sound restrictions?
A: Prescott reserves the right to take measurements electronically from the side of the track for a maximum reading of 107dB(A).
Q: Can I use a camera in the car?
A: Exact details will be shared in the drivers briefing notes a few days before the event.
Q: Can I take passengers up the hill?
A: Passengers must hold a (free) Motorsport UK RS Clubman licence and currently must be 18 or over. All passengers must be able to wear a seatbelt.

Aaaah it went to sold out literally as I was trying to pay.
If anyone decides they can’t/don’t want to do their runs I’ll happily buy their place off them!
As far as I can see, there's nothing to stop you booking a slot for one of the other car clubs that will be in attendance. If anyone decides they can’t/don’t want to do their runs I’ll happily buy their place off them!

Booked on for hill runs, was planning to go to the hillclimb school there this year so this will tick that off
Did Gurston Down last year and enjoyed it.
Probably bring the Nomad rather than the Impreza unless the weather is utter garbage.
Hill Climb School is very different. If you just want a run up the hill then the Pistonheads sort of event is great. If you are planning on competing then you definitely want to do the School as that will be a full day of tutoring with experienced drivers talking about the best lines etc.Did Gurston Down last year and enjoyed it.

I'm a hill climber in the road-going classes, if, you've not been before it's a lovely place to spend a day and looks like a great event you've signed on for. Some thoughts, it's a narrow course with a lot of jeopardy, particularly up to and through the esses where there is no run off. I've linked to a video below which shows the course and also the return road back to the paddock so you can see how that works. The video contains GPS speed data, please please don't treat it as a challenge . Have a great day.

Thanks for that - really helpful! Although, I was really looking forward to it beforehand and now I'm stting my pants... that penultimate corner looks like the run-off is basically outer space
