Regarding the pay on the gate - is reaching the 1000 cut off likely and is payment in advance recommended? Also, silly question probably but is it per car or per person?
I am guessing not as not many people have signed up on the list. I could well be wrong though! If I stay out of the pub Saturday and the weather is good Sunday I may have a run down and chance it on the gate.

I think they have capacity for 5k people so I wouldn't worry about it selling out, you'll just save yourself a few quid if you book in advance. And it's per person thumbup

Quick one. I received an email regarding filling out some details, I had flagged the email with the intention of doing it but can’t find the email now. Anyone attending shed any light on what it is we needed to do please?

A link would be superb.
Drop me a PM and I'll forward the email to you.

Glad to hear it! Weather forecast is looking dry at the moment, fingers crossed it stays that way.

Hi Ben - all.

I know probably no one will listen, but the rains and farmers have made a heck of a dirty mess of the Gretton Road.

Drivers would do well to approach from the A435 - on the Bishops Cleeve side.

Muddy tyres on the Gretton Road - turn straight into Prescott, then park until you do a hill run? I want mine as clean as poss. So I will come from the A435 side.

See you there - fingers crossed for dry… :-))

I am booked for the hill runs but have not received any emails from Prescott apart from reminder ones with a link to more info about the event which just tries to load an app called 'Spaces' but then says I don't have access.

Could you forward me any emails too please Ben.

Well, I’m not able to make it. Set off, have a hotel room booked, made it 20 miles and the brand new Alcons I had fitted are causing a racket. Pulled over and one of the callipers is binding. Absolutely gutted.

Do I need to let anyone know?

Do you have a spare car? If my Ariel sts itself in the morning I’m going to go home and pinch the wife’s Mini.
Hillclimbs are pretty easy in cars so don’t need a track prepped one

I assume parking is in ‘The Orchard’ car park which is basically a bumpy grass field (with very few trees). After all this rain, it’s going to be a mudfest I’m sure.

I do have a golf but it just wouldn’t be the same, and as it’s a 2.5 hr drive I’d want to actually enjoy the car I’m using.

If it were a bit closer I’d have probably come just for the crack. Well cheesed off.

Yeah probably worth writing it off if it is a 5hr round trip, I’m less than an hour away

Any indication if it's sold out? I was tempted to trundle along and try to get in.

Weather is fair, so I'd probably take the 2002 out anyway. I'm under an hour away, so no great loss if I can't get in

The general car park looked super muddy. Amazed that no one got stuck. A few of the guys in Lotus’s were struggling park in the grass in the paddock.

Absolutely brilliant day - apart from that tosser in the Atom who caused a brief red flag in the afternoon.

(Sorry everyone!)
