I can’t remember if this event is dog friendly or not?

MB world say that well-behaved dogs on a lead are permitted outdoors, however cannot go in the museum.

I've just cancelled so hopefully someone will get an email and a last minute place.

Can you just turn up on the day as a "spectator", or does that need pre-booking too? Thanks.
Yep! Very welcome to turn up as a spectator, the tickets are for a display car pass only. The public car park is open as normal.
Sorry to labour the point but before I make a pointless journey… we don’t have a ticket but we can still come along, park in the public car park and then walk around and look at everyone else’s car? The only thing we “miss” is showing our own car to people (which is not really my bag anyway to be honest)?

It was ok this morning. Wasn t as many cars as last year by a long way but worth attending. Some nice cars on display but also some completely unwashed every day cars that you d see in the local Tesco car park.
Thanks as usual to all the PH staff for organising, marshalling etc to make it an enjoyable safe meet.

Staff from PH organise, administrate and, perhaps lay on Marshall’s. All for nothing. Its a nice morning out and MBW is a great venue.
They can’t control the weather either.
The F355 with the corresponding plate looked great. I also liked the yellow Carrera T with carbon roof.

Wonder if there were any issues getting petrol hence a lower turnout than normal?

People reputinely don’t value stuff thats free. But grey this morning. Looked like rain. That will have been enough to give many second thoughts.

I thought the turn out was fine considering it’s early March and the weather generally hasn’t been great. Many people’s more special cars will be tucked away on SORN until at least next month. There were still many interesting, rare and special cars there in any case today. Thank you to PH for organising - MBW is always a good venue.

Shame it isnt held on the main area like it used to be in the past years ago (pre Covid).

The side concrete enbankment is full of potholes and nightmare if you want to leave when people are still arriving as gate is only wide enough for one car to come in at a time.

Weird how SundayService used to always be huge event and it is now a shadow of its former self in recent years. Both in terms of number of events a years and number of attendees at each event. The BMW one at the HQ was always a great event.

With social media being as popular as it is, it's dead easy for people with a bit of a following to arrange their own car meets. With that and other established meets, it's far more competitive these days. For some reason, the last Sunday of the month tends to be thin on the ground for any events, arranging it on that weekend would definitely help around London at least.

There were 3 other car meets on today in central and West London that I know of.

I was there solo and had a great time. Twin car of mine was even there! Lots of people with far from ordinary cars willing to chat, and MB world itself was great.

It was sold out, so I wonder if they've dropped the numbers allowed.

For a free event and an excuse to get out in the car (even though the journey is boring and just lots of motorway nd 30 limits) I'm happy and looking forward to the Mini one.

This is the first Pistonheads event I’ve been to, I thought there was plenty to admire. Met a mate and spent too much time just walking around talking rubbish.

Thank you Pistonheads for all the marshals and laying on a free event.

Your name... stands out. Your car must be... mental. Tell me about it!
