We shall be away 18th/19th (easter weekend), so may i propose 4th April, also it gets everyone together for Donnington's first big weekend of the year, who knows, maybe a bit of a barby afterwards !

So putting 2+2 together and getting 6
Are we now going out on Friday 4th April,
Off to Donington for practice/qualifying on Saturday, then back to yours for a BBQ on Sat night
Then back to Donny for the racing on Sunday

I don't think we can make that weekend so we'll have to wait till the next one.

Sorry to anyone who can't make that date but as Cirvy actually has a point for once about Easter and Tuscans at Donington give the whole event an even greater PH slant we'll go for the 4th
If anyones up for making a weekend of it I'd probably recommend getting a hotel out in Hucknall (definatly twinned with Roston Vasey) that way you could stagger back from Cirvy's on Saturday night (that is of course as long as cirvy's alright with me inviteing everyone round to his gaf ) And the hotel I've got in mind is right on the late night Nottingham bus route so getting home on Friday Night/Saturday Morning will not involve scareing any innocent Nissan ownerer

What club are you thinking if we take that route. Please NOT Jumping Jacks!!!! The whole ethos of a country and western style club does me 'ed in!

I was thinking of going slightly more upmarket, probably around the Hockley/Lace Market area and I'll do a bit of homework into quality/style of the clubs in that area

Hi Raceboy. Well, the 4th is booked off work. So the 4th April is perfect. Sorry you can't make it Mrs Fish.
Sugestions for clubs in a friday night will be flying over several e mails today with my friends so will choose somewhere with decent music, decent flooring and decent clientele! Will keep you posted xx

But remember they've got to let Flasher in
And does this mean I will have to smartern myself up a bit and I can't wear any nice warm wolly jumpers?

Raceboy, will we be having a night in the hotel? I assume you are talking about the travel in at the Bowman?

Why would we be having a night in here?

Because it's romantic. And it's less time on the bus! So no time to fall asleep or be sick.....

Almost hate to spoil the domestic intimacy in this thread... but I will

Since when has crashing out in a travel lodge after silly amounts of beer/dancing/curry been romantic? especially one half a mile from home?

It just any excuse to spend my 'hard earned' We'd probably end up in the next room to Mungo, and Flash, and they'd keep us awake all night
Cheers for doing the karting photos Phil
