Radio Le Mans!

Apparently as the sponsorship deal with GM ran out last year for Radio Le Mans the service may be in jeopardy this year. Nothing is confirmed as yet, but there is a possibility we will all be listening to the race in FRENCH!!

This is one of the best things abouts LeMans. Half the spectators won't know what is happening if Radio Le Mans isn't broadcasting.

Maybe we can do a whip round?

Must admit I think that in recent years the Radio Le Mans coverage has deteriorated, not sure how or why, but just think its not as fresh, as it was. Certainly thought the year when Noel Edmonds had his team in the race, and Jeremy Clarkson was interviewed it was great.

Last year there seemed to only be infrequent updates as to what had happened, and who was running where.

Mind you the commentators and journalists who feature on it keep telling us they are enthusiasts so presumably sponsorship doesn't cost much as they give their services free!

this will be a great shame if there is no radio le mans, this will be my 6th year and it just wont be the same if they are not there.

I emailed Radio Le Mans directly to ask for their comment and received this reply back from a gentleman called Martin Nott:

We will be there.
