Many thanks, well worth dragging myself out of bed at 6am this morning, fab bacon and sausage rolls Managed to squeeze in a good hoon home with a fellow Tamora owner.
oh and some top blagging going on with the PH staff cars...think Mr Will was a little short changed, hope he gets to play with something else soon.

I asked the wife "what's the difference?" The drive home was nice and quiet anyhow
Great SS, we travelled just over 160miles down and well worth it. My daughter's opinions were as follows:
7yr old: "MINI!! MINI!! FERRARI!! FERRAAARI!!!"
9yr old: "I think I want a Lamborghini"
11yr old: "Music to my ears" - on the Wedge (400) we followed out. She's right, it sounded lovely.
Speaking of wedges, hope you and the 350 didn't get company on the Mway. A battenburg S-max came flying past me going after *something*. Exchanged sheepish glances with the white Clio, thankfully we were both bimbling along.
Lovely meet, my choice, the silver California I think, nice mix of sports, cruiser, and just plain poseur!
Thanks to all stood in the cold and serving brekkie.

I was in the middle of this lot in the White Fiesta ST, I had a little curtosy wipe after that S-Max came steaming up behind me. 400 sounded lovely though!Great SS, we travelled just over 160miles down and well worth it. My daughter's opinions were as follows:

Well done to th PH crew for organsing the day It was great to have another SS within driving distance of the Midlands
Our group of 20+ cars from Redditch had great fun on the runs there & back: some great driving, with everyone making it there & back, safe & sound. Our gaggle contained the Lambo, GT3, red RS4, R21 turbo, C2 V6, white Focus RSs, 400+bhp Evo, Caterhams, Atom, etc, etc, all parked together! I'm sure we shocked a few Sunday morning cruisers on our run down the A-roads

Enjoyable first SS for me.
What wasn't so enjoyable was killing a Badger on the way down Hence why the front of my Libra was gaffa taped into place. Some nice cracks in the front clamshell that are gona cost me dear
To be honest when I stopped and had a look at the damage I was surprised it wasn't a lot worse, hitting a badger at 50mph with a plastic car makes a hell of a noise I can tell you.
Feel absolutely awefull for the badger tho

Who was the plum in the E46 M3, who tried to race the Elise off the lights, only to half spin across the central reservation, almost hitting oncoming traffic and knackering a wheel?
Oops. That'll cost a bit.Gutted I missed the cygnet :-(
Thanks for a great meet PH team and Mini

I also witnessed all this, the wedges were lovely. Nice Fiesta too. I was hiding in L3 in my grey Focus.EDIT: Trap - nice to talk to you about your lovely GTM! I was the tallish chap in the black coat when you arrived. Sorry to hear about the badger incident.

Great meet, great car selection and blooming cold!
Cygnet was a surprise, and looked, well awful IMHO.

I saw him as I was leaving. I did wonder what had happend. There was a dead Fox in the middle of the road so I wonderd if he tried to swerve around it or something. Cygnet was a surprise, and looked, well awful IMHO.

That sucks! We wondered what on earth had happened to the front, could tell it was fresh! Hope it survives - the car not the badger!

Ahh good to meet you fella. Sorry If I was a bit quiet, I was still and am still a bit shaken from the badger incident. On further inspection its a bit worse than I thought with some big cracks in the clamshell and a lot of chipping gel coat. At least Its not as bad for me as for the poor badger.EDIT: Trap - nice to talk to you about your lovely GTM! I was the tallish chap in the black coat when you arrived.
I did think the cygnet interior looked rather nice... shame about the rest of the car. Was it a privately purchased one or was it a bit of Aston advertising do we know?

Cheers fella. It will survive, will be fixed asap but will probably have to go up for sale afterwards. Atleast there is nothing structural damaged and the damage is right under where I needed to have some work done on the star crazing anyway.Trap said:

Chap who was driving it said it was a production test model, think thats what the codes in the screens meant. Thanks to PH for the meet, was excellent as usual. Very, very cold though!

So it kinda smacks of advertising... but surely they are pushing it upon the wrong crowd taking it there, it was never going to be received well. Thanks to PH for the meet, was excellent as usual. Very, very cold though!

Someone at AM must read the boards to know the meet was on to send the chap down with it.Advertising or not, still cool to get cars that aren't even released yet to one of our meets.
