Low boost after service

Just got car back from having a service ... Now car won't ...
Given that they received the car in good working order and returned it with a fault, I would say they almost certainly caused the problem and would hold them responsible for fixing it unless they could prove otherwise.GreenV8S said:

Assuming we are getting all of the story, as what is being said does not make sense.Even ignoring work done...the words "specialist" and returning a car that runs badly, just seem at odds with each other. Assuming it was running correctly beforehand.
I put some Denso twin tip plugs in my Supra 2 weeks back. Instantly exactly as you describe, wouldn't boost, misfiring like crazy and virtually undriveable.
I figured I must have disturbed something like a pipe or connector, but no. I put the old NGKs back in and instant cure. The Denso twin tip plugs were listed by everybody as just right for the Supra twin turbo but clearly not! Put in the same sort as came out.

What exactly is a "twin tip" plug ?I figured I must have disturbed something like a pipe or connector, but no. I put the old NGKs back in and instant cure. The Denso twin tip plugs were listed by everybody as just right for the Supra twin turbo but clearly not! Put in the same sort as came out.
Plugs with multiple electrodes are usually for extended service intervals, rarely performance.
No a clue! On very close inspection they look just like any other plug I ever saw. One pointy tip in the middle and a flat bent over one on the outside. I will be avoiding them in future anyway. Hours of pissing around while figuring it can't be those brand new plugs I just fitted. Should have gone with first instinct, change plugs, get massive misfire, plugs at fault.
Reading the Denso site they effectively narrow the electrode sizes at the spark point to make a more "concentrated" spark... Surely only good for crappy ignition systems.
