Afternoon everyone,
I recently got a series of scuffs and scratches applied to my rear bumper and door by some lovely considerate people, and as the scratches (more like lacquer chips I believe) aren't smooth to the finger roll over, I was wondering if taking a paint pen and clear lacquer to it will achieve a suitable cover to stop me from noticing them? (its metallic paint and I know the paint code so was going to get the £12 paint and lacquer kit off eBay)

The door ding I have is slightly more difficult but it has mild surface scratches around it, so I should probably use T-Cut for that?

Got a few quotes from various scratch and dent companies (revive, chips away) and its about £300 for both jobs on the rear bumper. Chips away said that the door ding isn't worth it due to it being fairly small, in the middle of the door and would require the whole door to be done.
As the bumper is plastic I needn't worry about rust, but the door ding, Im not so sure about. I was also assured that it wouldn't rust so thought to get a second opinion from you lovely car folk!
