RS4 or RS6 smile

(Out of the ones you note I'd get the Macan on looks alone. But am not a fan of these sports SUVs really).

Never driven any of them but I have ordered the Levante , sat in one a few times, great quality. I think the delivery time is Spring next year due to popularity but not 100% sure

This will be my third car from the brand, never had any issues with my GT's

confused what's that then? /\ /\ /\

As a Maserati fan, I was disappointed to read comments on the Levante. Of the above, I think the Macan would get much of my attention although it's pretty small in the back.

I've sat in the Levante. It's pretty classy and a nicer place than the F Pace. I like the Macan but Levante is more akin to Cayenne. Prefer the Levante.

An unavoidable release of pressure from someone who's got too far up themselves?

Sorry but proper supercar manufacturers simply do not make 4 x 4 SUV's.

If you want to meet someone so up themselves you need to come and meet the neighbour with his new Porsche Macan GTS.
Convinced he must be a drug dealer and proves money does not equal class.

Of the 3 the Levante looks the best and even the big Maserati grill looks more at home

I absolutely agree regarding whether a diesel 4 x 4 is a Supercar or not. (I might even agree that no current Maserati is a "true supercar", whatever that might mean.) My response was more related to the fact that this sub-forum is (rightly or wrongly) where we get to discuss things Maserati-related and it just seems a little overly concerned with status to bring the issue up in a thread not entitled "Are Maseratis Supercars or" "Get off our Patch".

Of course, whether I'm getting a little too up myself complaining about this is a completely seperate issue.

Only said in jest. Don't worry yourself.

Been considering adding a GranTurismo MC Stradale to the "fleet" for a while now just for the sound alone

I'll turn my "unnecessarily taking offence" setting down a few notches.

I will let the forum know what the Levante is like, Maserati get peppercorn from their owners for R&D, this 4x4 will save them I feel, and I couldn't give a monkeys weather any brand does a 4x4, good luck to them, they are a business

As for a Strad I would thoroughly recommend one, huge amounts of fun and as you say the noise is simply intoxicating

How big is your dog? Mine sits on the passenger seat, so no need for an SUV (human passengers sit in the back.... Priorities etc)

Edit: i also vote RS4/6, BMW Alpina B3/D3

Just came back from test driving a Levante in a winter resort. It was the disel version which was nice but not overvelming by any means. I would chooce it over a Cayenne or Sport for the sole reason that it is not that common. It is bigger than an F-Pace or Mecan so not directly comparable. Maserati said that a V8 version could be on its way in 2017.

In my view, the LM 002 was a supercar and certainly within the spirit of Lamborghini.
The Urus probably won't be quite same.........??

Buy the Porker. In black. Has more presence than the F-Pace and better drivability than the Levante. Drove a client's Levante in Switzerland a few months back -- it was nice on the inside, but dull to drive and look at.
