Tried searching for this topic but couldn’t find much, nor a dedicated thread.

I find the stock exhaust on my SV rather bland, especially compared to the new S which pops and bangs but also has much more of a ‘howl’ as you go up the rev range. I’ve had the valves capped so they’re permanently open, but it’s just not enough to match the aggressive looks of the car.

I haven’t ever swapped an exhaust system on any of my cars, hence asking PH for help.

So far found ...

ARMYTRIX
Titanium system with switchable valve control, but has square tail pipes

IPE
has blue rounded tips

Official Lamborghini Race Exhaust
Not sure if this can be fitted to the SV, or if there is a difference between the SV and the std car that means it wouldn’t fit properly.

There’s also the option for decat pipes, but not sure how much louder these would make it of if they would change the tone of the exhaust?

Just wondered if any SV owners have changed their exhaust and the pro’s and con’s for each option. What they sound like etc etc.

I’d prefer a ‘howl tone’ rather than just being loud for the sakes of it.

(Don’t want to get into the debate over whether aftermarket exhausts affect warranty etc, just want to keep this thread to simple and real/genuine options for SV exhaust systems).

Any suggestions ??

Hi there, check out Valentino Balboni's Titanium Exhaust System for the Aventador SV. He launched this recently and the man knows what he's talking about. Check him out on http://valentinobalboni.net

Have you had the software upgrade to a sports exhaust?

I've had a Capristo on mine since new, its a bit louder but not that much say compared to say aventador with the same as the SV exhaust is louder than a LP700 to start with.

Race exhaust fits SV fine, have seen several with it, is not quite as loud as mine but pretty close but is loud all the time as no valves, they all sound pretty similar except for the high pitched stuff like kreisegg

Try getting the latest software updates released last month, makes the gearbox in corsa much more usable and sport pops and crackles more, it seems to be half way to the S software but remaining more aggressive.

I would personally only buy a brand that is well established and provide backup and is easy to get hold of if there were an issue, for me that would be novitec or capristo. Novitec is much more expensive though.

Decat really needs mapping, but the big brands will provide a plug in that stops the CEL issue, it will invalidate any engine warranty though if you care about that.

Also what mode do you drive in, SV in sport is the loudest mode, corsa is relatively quiet by comparison, for the S corsa is much louder than the same in the SV

SV it is standard, the race exhaust comes with new software for it though, mainly to disable the valves that no longer exist

Sorry, I beg to differ. It was certainly an extra for mine (and I didn't have it).

Yes I paid for the sports upgrade remap, but the car was far too quiet until it got warmed up and allowed sport mode to open the valves.
It’s still a bit too quiet and my S sounds much better in comparison.

I’ll look into the capristo and novitec items too.

Thanks for input
