Hello everyone,

Just purchased a 2007 GT, and can't stop smiling!

No doubt I will be pestering everyone for knowledge, as there are a number of small things I need to get sorted. But time enough for that!

Thanks in advance for all the advice you will be giving me!

Hello.

Nice looking GT. I do like a lighter interior.

Must admit I find the red interior a bit too ‘boudoir’ myself.

Horses for courses as they say.

Near, but nearer to Cambridge.

Just south of the A14, between Cambridge and Bar Hill.

Stopped smiling today.

Thought I was just popping into garage to replace headlight bulb.

Turns out I need a new headlight unit!

£1500 + Vat + fitting + delivery from Italy + currently out of stock!!!!

Thank goodness the clocks go forward soon.

Very nice looking car and welcome to the highs and lows of Maserati ownership...

Now you mention it, anyone know how to adjust the oval clock in a Ghibli? I’d be impressed if it can be done from the main screen.

Try Eurospares - it looks like they list GT headlights for £1k (not sure if that includes VAT). Their stuff is usually either OEM or identical pattern parts.

Found out today the one in the 4200 you push the little button on the bottom of the oval, not sure if it's same on Ghibli.

Fellow Maserati owner out near Newmarket.
Is Bar-tech our closest garage for servicing etc?

I'm 10 minutes off the A14 - between St Ives and Bar Hill. I've taken my '07 GT and other cars to Barr Tech since we moved back to the UK 3 years ago, and I really rate their work.

We should arrange a meet!

Agreed. I've been very impressed with the help and advice I have received at Barr-Tech.

It's always nice to discover trustworthy resource, and locally too.

Good shout - managed to get some missing seat adjuster knobs from them.

Shouldn't keep going on about the costs, but £27 + vat each for 5 pence worth of plastic! (My northern heritage keeps coming to the fore!!!)

The good news is that don't need the light console now.

Traced it down to the ballast control unit - £140 new from ebay.

Glad to hear that the fix is a little less expensive than first thought - £1500 had an hint of "Welcome to Maserati ownership, have a kick in the teeth."
