Can any one on here recommend a good quality outdoor cover for my V8 Vantage?

I have had a look around on the net and there are a few. I fear ordering one and it turns up a cheap looking bad fitting cover. Which has happend to me before....

Any Recommendations???

Hi

This is a thread I started on it when I bought mine...

http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...

Went for the Specialised 'Storm Shield' cover in the end; hopefully it should be turning up this week - there's a 3-4 week wait as they are made to order.

Thankfully I searched for this info when looking for a cover. My Specialised Storm Shield V8V cover arrived yesterday after a call to really ensure I got it following the 7 working day special order I placed (which to their credit they did).

It looks to be of wonderful quality and has good features such as a strong lower adjustable band to truly wrap around the underbody and wheels. A optional lock mechanism (padlock and lockable strap clamp) will also help ensure it doesn't vanish.

All supplied in a very neat bag made of the same sturdy material.

Green with grey/silver mirror "ears"' it also blends in nicely. Was approaching £500 with the special 7 working day order plus security kit, but appears to be worth it.

I've had 3 specialised covers over the last 17 years on 3 cars. The last one made it to 9 years old before retirement. I bought another to replace it. My default choice for a quality car cover smile

Hi...I came across this company when looking for AM products....

www.carcapsole.com
They even were using an AM car... different idea over using a normal car cover...

Has anyone used or bought?

I forgive you LOL!

Used the Specialised Storm Shield V8V cover last week and it works great. Fits like a glove, even with the mirrors folded. Throughly recommended.
