My battery cover is melted too. Must make a call to monkfish soon it's doing my head in.

Hi sturdy, I see you have an alloy power steering vessel, is the inside baffled?

Alas it's just a cover over the stock reservoir wink

That is what have decided to do smile I was going to make the whole unit but not been able to find out how it's baffled, must be quite an intricate baffle as there is a lot of oil moving in and out of that little vessel and the last thing you want is it to start foaming up

Shiny intake manifold is on its way, just off at Jim's Factory being painted up with a chrome finish biggrin

Couple more days for the base coat to dry, then time for the 'chrome' coat.

Will of course post pictures...

I think it's very tidy cool but surely it looks just as tidy with a big plastic cover over the whole lot? hehe

Somehow stumbled across this thread, shame so many of the old names don't post any more frown

Looks like I finally achieved engine bay tidyness anyway hehe

Coils relocated, valve covers crackle red and a silly intake. Still need to do the resivoirs and move the abs pump, but that’s a job for next winter, when I pull the engine to refresh.

^^^ There's some real talented guys on this forum.
How you've got the time and skill to do what you do to your cars is beyond me.
