I think they call it character!
They are def living things yes what really worries me is my garage is in a block of six all are the same and when it snowed the last time only my roof was clear of snow, even my neighbours asked if it was heated as they had noticed it, but no, just the R8 inside no heating, very strange, all that is in there is two floro lights and they were off.snowwolf said:

I remember that. It probably takes a couple of weeks for the car to cool down after you've been driving it!
Look on the bright side: On day 10 of ownership (after speaking to WP who built the car, A Vauxhall dealer who serviced the car and getting an independent inspection) I needed a new gearbox, clutch, discs and pads. Just short of £5K later I love my car like no other car I've owned
Your problems are minor and easily fixable

And you wonder why your electricity bill is so high? Maybe you have just found the live leak. As for the OP, there's always a little new-car paranoia. I think it will pass, and as long as you're mechanically sympathetic the car will last.
BTW, what did you buy as the third car?

Wish it was just that easy, there are only two flouro lights in there, neither are hot, but I will change them Araf as I have got myself some new ones, it could be tho !!!!As for the OP, there's always a little new-car paranoia. How's the leg Gruff?
Hey RichieHow's the leg Gruff?
Yeah the leg is ok cheers. I'm tempted to try and drive as I have no cast, but I don't think it's a good idea because its the 'clutch' leg!
You are correct!!! The TVR was scary and that was just the breakdowns it had without even worrying about disintergrating into a cloud of fibre glass dust when the car decided to try and do its own thing! I still miss it though...

I have a TVR scratch to itch at some point,
I think it's Cerbera AJP V8 or LS conversion shaped!
I don't think I'll try putting 700-800 miles a week on it though!
Definitely go for an engine conversion!! It's worth the cash for the piece of mind. I was always scared that the engine was falling apart when I heard the slightest rattle or I'd wake up in the morning to find that it had spontaneously combusted! Flipping things! Still love'em!I think it's Cerbera AJP V8 or LS conversion shaped!
