Great work. Nice having the shift light isn't it driving

What did you do to the temp gauge though?

Format: preset temp-gauge

This preset re-calibrates the temperature gauge to show closer to coolant temperature, rather than staying on 3/8 between 185-230*F. Formerly, it also changed the high temperature alert to 230*F, which now has been moved to a different preset.
The gauge markings will be as follows:
•C = 140
•1/4 = 167
•3/8 low = 176
•3/8 high = 180
•1/2 = 200
•5/8 = 210
•3/4 = 221
•7/8 = 224
•H = 244

Have you verified the temp gauge behaves differently? I thought I had done mine but could not see a difference. I will have to have another look now though thumbup

Seems like lots of people are getting this done now - does anyone have the cable and knowledge near to Farnham / Farnborough??

Tried just now with my cable and it didn't work, wouldn't do anything on the software and it didn't recognize the port. Have given up before I mess it up!

Been meaning to get this done for a while, I'm in Wokingham so not far away. If you do manage to find someone local, would be keen to join.

I can confirm my cable works as I've just altered the startup logo on mine (to Holden, no CV8 allusions to HSV tongue out). Will check the temp gauge out later if the roads dry out a bit (I re-applied the preset). Cable in the Bristol area if anyone else wants a go.

Not sure what the issue is with mine, maybe the soldering isn't that great....

Did any 04s get the ECT gauge to work properly? I still don't think mine took. I think everything else I fiddled with works.

I tried to make a cable but it didn't work, however I'll give it another go if the cable can be bought ready made? Anyone know if it can?
