PF48 is hard to find now as they have replaced it with PF48E which is shorter.

PF63 also fits the LS3 as this was supplied to me by vauxhall and is slightly taller.

on the monaro ls2 / Pontiac gto 6.0

the K&N oil filter is HP-1007 or the simpler PS-1007

if you want to go taller filter and have the space K&N hp-2006 or ps-2006

same with the delco PF46 original hight or PF-61 taller model

Also the difference between the eralier enginer LS2 and the later and ls3 l99, l92 etc
the earlier has inch thread and bypass valve in the oilpan
the later engines have mm thread and bypass valve in the filter it self
so be shure to lok up what your engine requires before ordering
