Maf or Mafless?

6ltr LS2 VXR8 TVS2300 charger OTRCAI vcm with Camaro maf. Wortec cat back exhaust. Car is auto (wortec box map) Granbys old car. lumpy idle some times and lean bank 1+2 codes. Used as a daily (its my wifes) fast road only,suspect MAF so what are the pros and cons, as if I can I would like to ditch that maf. any issues going MAFless?

Depending on the year the maf wont even read the airflow you are now putting through it correctly. So becomes a useless impediment.
Newer LSA GTS have uprated ECU and support greater maf airflow levels so its less of an issue.
