So this car eventually sold for €2,10,000 !! Unfortunately my numbers didn't come up on the euro lottery on Friday so it wasn't my winning bid. What do you do with It though ?

Seems quite cheap €210K, if they only washed it, it may have netted them 2Mill+ wink

Are you saying it was actually sold for over 2 million? How come?

It's the only one like it, and never been driven: http://www.rmsothebys.com/ve17/villa-erba/lots/199...

Thanks, what a gorgeous car, shame it'll probably never be driven!

Funny world for an RSR would think a nice race history would be better .......

Was the only other one with a fully trimmed interior trimmed in Guards? Either way it's not exactly a common car!

Some other rather special 911's in the same collection as the 3.8 RSR's too IIRC Vic ?

pictured with sister car a few years ago - that one was obviously completely worn out as it had a massive 66kms or 41 miles on the odometer(!) - ended up in Houston approx 2 years ago with a porsche collector for significantly less $ than this car. Silver car had been hawked around for a while to all and sundry - but nobody would put their hand up - fair play to RM - they got the job done. If i had that kind of money to spend - think i'd get more enjoyment out of buying a load of real racecars with proper racing history and use one or two with impunity.
