As per the title,
No doubt we are all aware of the sad closure of Monkfish Performance. So, where else can we go for service and repair? Well if you can travel to the North East, I can recommend AAS in Newcastle Upon Tyne. They do quality work and are as honest as you could wish for.

Before anybody ask's, I am not connected to the company.

Agreed! They know these cars inside out. As stated in my post on the other thread, AAS are a UK distributor of Royal Purple products, so are the place to go if people want to continue to use Royal Purple products.

Might be worth changing the thread title if you want to list Monkfish alternatives?

Bridgend in Kilwinning near Glasgow. Kev comes on here occasionally too - modified LS2 VXR8 owner. I have used him several times (when I had the '8 that was) as have several others on here. Friendly, capable service.

There is Walkinshaw Performance near Chipping Norton. They've always done great work too, and not too far from Monkfish either.

Well, for the North west I wouldn't trust anyone else but MW Performance in Chester with my car. I'm sure many people on here know of them already but thought I'd give them a Mention just in case

Firstly, very disappointing that it has come to this. Despite couple of decent alternatives, the knowledge base and spares inventory at MF is much greater than anywhere else.

No mention of Promax ceasing to exist anywhere, or has it closed already? Does anyone know?

Promax is a separate company and a decision has not yet been made. You'd have to speak with Roger and Andy, if you want more than that.

Roger and Andy will be concentrating on Pedders UK, which has grown significantly over the last couple of years. All suspension, steering and braking equipment for our cars will still be available through their on-line shop by mail order.

As for the Monkfish inventory, worst case scenario is that they will continue to sell it piecemeal from their website until it has all gone. All plans are fluid though and now that Roger and Andy's plans are public knowledge, someone may come up with an idea that hadn't been considered.

Thanks very much for filling us in on that Ian.
