Hi Guys,my Ls1 engined Monaco, Cv8, needs a new slave cylinder.
My question is,should I go the whole Hog and get am Ls7 clutch fitted?
If so,what do I need in the kit?
Where from and how much?
Same applies to Ls1 slave cylinder!
Thoughts?

I had the LS7 kit fitted to my Monaro VXR cos the original clutch said 'No!' to the extra power When I had a Cam and header upgrades done at the fish.

Couldn't tell you how much as was costed in the upgrades.

Do get the spigot bearing replaced whilst you a having work done and a clutch bleed hose can save you some time and £s later on.

and take a look see into a Ripshifter whilst you are at it.

When you go to the trouble of replacing your slave cylinder, it would be madness not to change the spigot bearing and clutch. Don't forget to includ the quick bleed line as well.
Don't bother trying to get an OEM clutch either, get the LS7 clutch kit including the flywheel, it's a lot nicer to use than a standard item.
You might want to get the rear crank seal checked while you're at it, just in case.

Hi,

I went from LS1 to LS7 and got the bits from Speed4U above, Flywheel, Pressure Plate, friction plate - as the others have said get a new spigot bearing and slave cyl fitted at the same time. Price was bob on by the way ;-)
