Hard to tell, add a bit of detergent and felt like I was doing 10-pin bowling!

Route was great ! All the numbskulls driving at 40-45 was not so great🙄 Just sat down with a Guinness lost Ade at a roundabout? About 40 miles from the hotel.

Fuel stop at Fort William, got a very rare view of Ben Nevis North Face.
Then Connel Bridge and Inveraray.
29 degrees at one point and perfect weather.
Fabulous.

Good to catch up with folks at the start - I'll definitely need to come along (and stay for the duration...) on another run/meet. Without a bike suckered to the Monaro roof/bootlid.

Hope everyone had a good day smile

Be happy to drive behind you without the suckered bike ;-)

I'll definitely try and come for the whole thing next time. Might be alone though as number one son can get car sick and I think the section I did was pushing his comfort limits in a few places...yuck

Great to finally see some more Holdens even if I didn't quite keep up with Leigh & Ade driving

@Ron: Nice to meet you both, we thoroughly enjoyed the ~50 miles we did in our mini-convoy of two! I'm still jealous of the colour of your Monaro (even though obviously everyone knows red is better!).

Hope to make it to the next one!

Cheers Dave & Louden

Home now! 1145 miles round trip.
Took 6 hours and 45 minutes to get home , could have done it quicker but for heavy traffic at Barnsley and on the A14 at the roadworks before it becomes the M11.
Going to see how much petrol I used later.

just had a count and I used 245 litres of fuel, thats if I counted all my receipts properly.
Had a little work out and it works out to 21.20 miles to the gallon.

Leigh, 21mpg on those figures, give or take. But as the Forum used to say, we didn't get these cars with any mpg thoughts! 'sides, yours sounds awesome.

Steve, I could only hear yours in the forwards distance!

Dave, your reg rules!

A few from Sat meet, missed one though. I’ll be in the cruise next time. Hopefully not a year away!

Not long after joining the M9 after setting off I was still 3-4 cars back from the next nearest Monaro (which I think was you Rob). Don't know who dropped a couple of gears and floored it ahead, but bloody hell it was good/loud biggrin Steve perhaps?!

Steve has a bronze coloured version of the white car in the photos.
My immense apologies for not knowing what those supercharged LSA 4 door HSV's are.
Only 13 in the UK.

Great to see you all, maybe next time more will make the run. Enjoyed myself, and I averaged on car computer for full trip 26.4 mpg that will do for me to have such fun. When Leigh went a different way to me on run, my Sat Nav rerouted me from the massive non moving slow traffic jam that we were in,it took me on a brilliant road, far better than Dukes and I only came across one cyclist.

Cannot give any road details as the Sat Nav just called it "ROAD"

Thanks to all, and lets make next meet ASAP.

Now you've got me intrigued.
Was it before you reached the Green Welly or on your way back to Stirling?
The queue might have been where Loch Lomond was on your left?

How about at the coffee and cars this Saturday in Bishopton? Da flux is interested.
Anyone interest and I’ll start a new post with the details.
