Guys are pre-booked into rooms at Stirling, some coming from very afar. Others are local enough to Stirling.
So it's dinner on Saturday evening August 24.
A decent run out of Stirling on Sunday, usually leave about 09:30.
Back in time for dinner at Stirling Premier Inn.

NC500 is available for anyone on Bank Holiday Monday.

OK, Loch Lomond, round the 500, is a days run. You can join in Inverness, do the loop and be home in time for tea. Up for it?
I was brought up in Ilford then Chigwell, Essex until I moved to West of Scotland in my twenties. Most of my relatives were in Moray so I know a lot about running up and down the country.
Not quite as far as the Orkneys (but I have been to the Shetlands).

Tracked this across from the VXR8/Monaro owners club on FB, so apologies that I'm late to the party! rolleyes

I live near Loch Lomond, so not far at all and I'm well up for coming along!
That was from my FB comments. We could cruise up together from Glasgow

I've just seen that the weekend for this has changed. I'll need to check with SWMBO but I might pop down on Sunday morning (I stay in Alford so only ~2.5-3hrs from Stirling). I've only had a Monaro (2004 CV8) since September last year and so far haven't seen another on the road, this looks like the best chance I'll have this year!

Would you kids come along? What age? I’ll bring my 6 or 7 yo to dinner.

Get down here mate, like you I’ve not seen any others on the road, nor Vxr8s.

Would make a good photo

Yep.
We've 2 or 3 in mind. It's not a good idea to release a route openly in case of un-needed attention.

Looks like I'll make it. Planning to come down on Sunday morning (with my 10yr old boy), hopefully manage some of the route too...

Roger-dodger. It'll be an early start as we'll have an obligatory stop at "The Horn" (between Dundee and Perth) for a bacon roll!

Nah, wouldn't bring mine to this - they're a bit younger and I don't need them hanging around causing chaos...
