Hi guys.
Seems I may need a rear wheel bearing.
I've used the search function, but got nothing definite.
Can anyone provide some information regarding the rear bearings, I'm assuming there's no difference between the CV8 and VXR variants.
I've got this one in mind, apparently fits a Lotus Carlton as well as a load of other 80/90 Vauxhalls!

Cheers that's brill.

Seems there are loads of bearings available with those precise dimensions including the one I posted.
My mate was right when he said I just owned a fat Calibra!

I used a Calibra one from Euro car parts. Been in there for the last couple years now. Was about £25 on one of their deals.

Just put above details in and put 2005 Monaro 6l and it says no available part.

Are you trying just for the 5.7l big boot Monaro?

The wheel bearings are the same for all Monaro's.
It won't find the parts for our cars, the bearing will be found under Calibra and many other older VX cars.

Tried Calibra and it was £60.

Best thing is if one of you changes the rear bearing and it is a correct fit please give us the part no so we know that it is correct one

Thanks alot in advance.

Will do.
I've just ordered an SFK VKBA 1326 and have the car booked in a week Friday for fitting. Fingers crossed it is definitely right.
This bearing also fits some Calibra, Cavalier, Omega and Senator models.

The same bearing is in lots of cars. Pretty standard part. Just match the specs.

Inner Diameter 37mm
Outer Diameter 74mm
Width 45mm

Just look at other GM cars when needing fairly normal components. A large portion will be parts shared for ease of distribution and cost cutting.

Haha! No it isn't. I simply threw £180 quid at it and like magic it was done! Expensive I know!
My garage has got some top equipment so was changed in situ without the need to remove the arm or be over brutal with anything.

That's a ridiculous price! It took the technician about 3 hours, that's all. And lets bare in mind he'd certainly never done one before. I supplied the bearing though which was £30.
