Right come on, us owners or anyone else for that matter need to start using this forum a bit more as Ted has kindly reinstated it. We need to spread the word to other HSVers but where do we find them?

Petrol stations are always a good bet! But there are 170 of them in the country to my knowledge so we should be able to find a few of them.


By the way there is a superb website you need to visit: capa.com.au
They stock everything you could ever want for your HSV. Best of all is the price. A part that costs £500 here, costs $500Aus and remember the exchange rate is approx 3.2 That's a third the price! Plus, the range of tuning parts for the LS-1 engine is huge.

Hi everyone, got this site from Mark at Linden Special vehicles, currently trying to track down other GTS-r owners for a chat and possibly a get together, iv'e unfortunately just lost the speedo function on my GTS-r which makes for very interesting driving on the motorway so its a day out and a trip to LSV for repairs. safe driving regards Andrew.

andee, same thing happened to mine a month ago, apparently it's a fairly common fault. How long have you had the car and what are your impressions? A get-together one day with other owners might be interesting as there appears to be some very knowledgable people on here like Miraz and Apollo.

Guess what - my speedo went too. Only took Mark about an hour to replace the electronic gizmo that converts kmh to mph, plus new gizmo is improved to prevent future problems.
My beloved car is just a lowly GTS but has a NOS kit to make skyline owners weep.
I have a new SL500 arriving next month and have already decided to flog it because I could not be parted from my astounding HSV.
I am utterly smitten and will probably get a new one this Summer.

I'm afraid we sold our GTS! We had the first one in the country too - used by Clarkson on Top Gear.

Husband was heartbroken - bless - i've had to promise him that we'll get another one later on after i've had my fun with the Boxster!
