Was the 3 inch system made up or off the shelf so to speak?

Asking as my NA build is going to have somewhat edged past what the AAS headers and 2.5" cat back is ideal for. Plus realistically, I want long tubes and a deeper 'zorst after all this time with the Wortec hehe

The 3inch cat back purchased in 2015 before WP came up with the option for the UK, and Harrop stopped selling direct to the UK (due to the mutual deal with WPUK). Then ramjets were added during the last series of modding smile

With a long list of engine mods I was hoping for better results today.
425 bhp
432 ft/pd

The car has only been road mapped by Wortec so looking to get it dyno mapped by someone to see if improvements can be made.

Had by car tuned by Luis and Carl about a year and a half ago, oh boy, what a difference. Its now smooth and linear and doesn't stall when cold, well worth the money and the guys know their stuff, Luis has also been helpful since with the odd question i may have had to throw at hi, bite the bullet, you wont regret it.

I have problems with cold start too. Always starts but generally need to leave the car running for 5 minutes or so before driving otherwise it’s a pig!

Do you mind if I ask what you paid for a remap by these guys?

Having seen your mods list, I'd expect more than that as well, assuming they're flywheel figures?

That’s what I thought too.
I was told today by the guy that dyno’d it that does a lot of tuning for a company based near Brands Hatch that they’ve had cars that are ‘road mapped’ that then make a lot more power after a proper dyno map.
I was hoping for nearer 500bhp with the mods I’ve got.
And yes, that’s output at the crank.

Yeah, I agree. I'd expect 470-500bhp flywheel with your mods.
You can try a remap with this Luis Sola, from what I've read he should find a few more ponies!

A lot of cars are mapped for road use and finished on the dyno. The skill is in making it drive properly including cold start.

Had a quote today from MWP for a remap and it was eye watering!
How they can justify £1200+vat for a day on the dyno is beyond me.
Does anyone know how to get hold of Carl Herkes? I’m not on fb so could do with a number or email.........

Yikes!!! That is eye watering. Sure you've not added an extra '0'? £120+vatlaugh That would be just as ridiculous!
I'd think £750 would be fair. I'm obviously out of touch.

Wortec mapped mine from scratch for £800 I think and that included 1/2 day on the dyno, whole thing took a week or so. £1200 sounds expensive for some dyno time.

Why would it need an entire day on the dyno ? Something aint adding up there, unless it's some incredibly unique build and setup !

I had my Monaro done by Luis via MWP last year. I think they say they need the car for a full day to allow for the initial session on the dyno, then the follow up after Luis has worked on it. Worth considering that this is being done remotely (with a time difference) so I guess you need to keep the car on the dyno whilst being done?

Yes the cost may be eye watering but I can report that the results are well worth it. Not only in terms of power, but overall driveability also improves noticeably. Don't think mine was £1200+VAT though - think mine was about that including a service.

Edited: just checked, £1376 all in including a service and VAT.

I’ve since spoken to Carl Herkes and he’s quoting a similar figure but wants the car for a week!!!
