Just watching a great video on the first Bathurst 24hr Race where they built a Monaro especially for that race - might have been mentioned before maybe but I enjoyed the Aussie enthusiasm and proudness of it all.

I watched some of the 2003 race on Australian t.v Monaros finished 1st and 2nd with a few seconds between them after 24 hours.
