Drivers door not unlocking on fob

G'day folks
The driver's side door won't unlock from the fob but the passenger door does as normal. When I unlock with the key the alarm goes off, blip the key and that stops. when I start it I get Alarm activated by drivers door. It will lock on the fob.
Has anybody had the same problem?

Seems to me a door actuator problem given the unlock button opens the passenger side as normal.
Can you press the open button as normal, then unlock manually with the key without having an alarm issues?

Yes, it will.
Contrary to what i said earlier I do have to lock it with the key and then get three horn beeps.

OK, so I've just tried to lock my Monaro using the fob with the drivers door open...it tries, fails and beeps the horn 3 times.
Yours is doing this with the door closed and won't lock or unlock with the fob.
This suggests you have an actuator/lock issue rather than a fob or alarm issue.
Time to get the door card off and have a look?

It'll be the motor you can replace with new or repair following the procedure on the omega website. I did this and its been perfect since . The initial clean did nothing really but the new micro switch sorted it

You can get new from China aliexpress quite cheap but I can't comment on quality

They list them as Left and right but I believe there both the same going off the GTO parts catalogue
