I have been looking through the Hayens manual to see how to remove the door panels so I can change the speakers.

The manual said that when removing the panel you need to take out a small clip in the door lock button and when you do, it will break and advises to get new ones before you start!

Has any one done this job, if so 'do the clips break' and where can I get new ones?

If you are careful then you can remove it intact...

Out of curiosity - what's the ISBN number on the Haynes manual - and which models does it cover?

I bought the manual via Haynes web site www.haynes.co.uk
It covers VT/VTII 1997-2000 but no detail on 6spd gearbox.
It cost about £15.00 and arrived in two days
