How do you do it exactly?

I have removed the two bolts and the front bearing assembly (i think) , but it still wont budge.

Is there something else i have to remove or is there a trick to this?

Heres a picture

thankyou

It sits on a circular machined boss on the front of the gearbox. Probably a bit of corrosion holding it on...

BTW, don't forget the essential remote bleed line mod while it's apart. Monkfish are doing a kit now.

got it off, sprayed a bit of wd40 and left it to soak for a few hours, a few light taps with a mallet later and it was off.

i can now flip the box so it vertical and start stripping it down smile

I am planning on changing the broken bits with uprated bits.

I am also changing the slave and maybe the master as the americans think that my master and slave were related to my broken box.

I am liking the look of the tickperformance master

Sorry if I missed it, but how'd it break? Knackered synchro's?
Good luck with it! Get some internal pics smile

At least you have a professional rebuild stand like mine to work on hehe

most likely tickperformance if they ship to the uk.

The main problem ive got is that the gearbox is big and bulky and weighs more than me and i now need to flip it vertical. So i have to wait for some assistance.

They dont ship outside the US. You sure you want one of those masters? They increase pedel pressure.

You could maybe try RPM Transmissions. The Vette guys seem to love them.
