Does it throw a code?
Sometimes there will be codes in there without a MIL as mentioned.
Best to get it somewhere with a scan tool etc.

Only codes are to do with the immobilser cutting the fuel supply so it's probably not the crank sensor to be honest.. (although these could be old codes..) just thought it would be worth checking as people with the same problem have said this has cured it.

Kjell from Sweden here my car died once last year and throw a code for crank position sensor, after a while it started and i erased the code and run the rest of the year until januari trouble free
after the winter storage i took it for a longer drive to a cruising up north and the car died on me tachometer jumped like cracy and i could after it cooled down drive for 15-20 minutes and then it stopped again
i had a china made cps sensor for spare so tonight i mounted that out in the parking spot yeah its a little tiresome to not have a lift
after the sensor and started were back on the car refused to start
i checked the cabling and mounted the starter of and on again 4 times no luck
i had to mount it back again and put the old sensor back on and not it runs like before
stupid china made junk
hope you and the other guys are fine and have not been infected by covid
Elise and i wish you all a nice summer
