surprised people still think redstuff pads are any good, get a matching set of ferrodo's or Pagids are what I've used over the years and have always performed perfectly. Pagids RS29 are amazing!
What's wrong with the Redstuff pads? I've just bought a set and am about to fit them. If the consensus is negative I'll flog them on eBay and get something else.
I fitted Greenstuff on my old car (Z4 Coupe) for a track day, and found them to be better than the previous pads (no idea what they were).
I've never used them, but was under the impression that the RedStuff was just a more agressive version, with more bite and less longevity. Bearing in mind how hard you have to hit the brakes in the T350, I thought this would be a good idea.

I'm not a fan of EBC in general, they make pads for mountain bikes with hydraulic brakes and they're not great. Their own website recommends it can take upto 1500miles to bed in there red stuff pads, it doesn't even list ratings for optimum working temperatures or max operating temps on the website. It's all a bit mickey mouse and aimed at the max power brigade.

I've heard many people over the years trying them and not being overly impressed for trackday use, causing grooves in discs, overheating etc, at best I'd say they are good for road use as they are only designed to be better than OEM.

Properly tested and rated pads like ferrodo, mintex, pagid are worth the money and can stand up to long sessions on track without overheating, on my T350 I done a pile of trackdays on ferrodo DS2500 pads and they were perfect for road too. On my Noble I use Pagid RS29 ceramic pads, expensive but the car stops faster than anything I've been in before.

With pads you deffinately get what you pay for but it depends what your intended use is. If its road why not, the OEM pads are too hard, If for regular track use I'd get something better.

Oh and if your serious about having good brakes that last on track, upgrade your brake fluid to Motul RBF660.

I tried EBC Greenstuff on my Chimaera - like all TVRs it is not highly servo assisted, and the pads were useless. I'm sure redstuff are no better, probably worse in road driving when granny miggins steps out from the kerb in front of you 100M from home.

I like DS2500 from Ferodo, but the best pads I've found by far for the TVR are Carbon Lorraine. They are night and day better than Ferodo DS2500, it feels like you have a different braking system. However on my car they squealed like pigs so I had to remove them for my own sanity. I still have the pads for future use though.

The carbon lorraine pads might be better suited to grooved rather than drilled discs. A few nobles also run them (cars are same weight) Have heard they are good on road but yet to hear of someone punishing them on track.

That's very interesting...
I think I'll follow your advice and get rid of them then.

So the Carbon Lorraine are too noisey, Ferrodo DS2500 are good, but no where as good as the CL ones.
Would you recommend carbon based pads, or are these too squeeky?

Too noisy on my car, might not be on your car. They're expensive to just test them out, but if they are quiet then you'll be very happy IMO.
