Wow, £60k. The prices are rocketing skywards and fast. Let's hope our other models follow suit.
It does kind of suggest that something has to give one way or another.

They are over priced. I can honestly say. that despite the fact that I love my Sag. I would be looking at a GTR. I would not pay 60K for a Sag they're not worth it

Pics are up on their Facebook account. £60k? Well if it sells at that, we'll know the new price for a car of that condition.

But it is a huge amount of money. HUGE.

If anything, it serves to remind us of how good value a similar age Tuscan 2S or T350 is. Both of which, no disrespect to any Sagaris owners, will IMHO age much more gracefully.

In isolation the prices are easily justifiable.

The last and finest model from One of Britains last stand alone car companies. Big Performance, striking looks etc.

It's when in contrast to the other models which are extremely similar there is a disconnect.

My advice, based on my own experience, is to buy privately. I bought mine privately 2 years ago. I had looked at the car and was considering buying it when the vendor let a well known dealer have it. Fortunately I got my act together and managed to buy it from the seller conditional upon an inspection by a well known TVR expert. I saved 7 grand by doing so. I think there are many buyers who seek the security of buying from a dealer and thus allowing these dealers to set the market price of these cars.

The looks/prices/kit could be debated all day long but they are selling at these increased prices, so to some people they are worth it. (including me) If there were the same number of Tuscans/t350 left, they would probably sell for similar money.

It's a totally different car to anything out there and I'd rather have it over anything else around for these prices.

I looked long and hard at the prices being asked before I bought mine. I was very much in the camp that said I would not pay above a certain price for a Sagaris, but ended up paying a little over the original invoice tag for a seven year old 1 owner car.

Tend to agree with Graham, it’s a case of needing to pay what is being asked (or very close too) if you want something badly enough I guess?

The market will pay what the market will pay, I guess. Classic car market seems to be storming ahead despite the recession(s) for some makes...

Will be interesting to see if they retain their value.

Its not just the sellers that have increased the market value its the buyers too, there seem to be more people after sags than what can go around and thats before you have people after the same colour. Even in a this climate they are not hanging around for long. Mr Orange was up for sale for a day and I know 2 other people that wanted the car.

They are the last TVR released before close and because of this are in limited numbers. Just how much would they be if when the americans can get there hands on a few.

T350 and other tvrs are on the up to like they should be.

I think the 2007 laser blue sag is stunning and worth the 60k they are asking. I would imagine they would have a few people interested already

I am surprising myself here but I tend to agree.
They are the last of the breed and mighty fine they are too!!
I have a very nice T350 but would love a Sagaris. But for me it's all about justifying the initial capital cost and because I can't bloody afford onecurse
Anyway if you are lucky enough to be a proud owner enjoy!!!
Cheers
Steve

I'm afraid I don't like the interior on that Cascade Indigo one or that Laser Blue one to be honest (purely a personal choice thing).....

I do know of (or at least I think I do) another Cascade Indigo Sagaris btw...

I think there were 3 indigo from factory and at least 2 other cars sprayed since, 1 violet from factory. Love the purple one from the selection avaliable. Great colour, condition, interior and 3.91 CR combo bounce
